亚博官网 Partners with MDC for LINK Transfer Success Program
亚博官网 and Miami Dade College (MDC) recently announced a new partnership to establish the LINK Transfer Success Program. This program is a collaborative effort to facilitate the admission and smooth transition of students from an MDC associate degree to an 亚博官网 baccalaureate degree.听
鈥淲e are excited to formalize this partnership with Miami Dade College, the largest institution of higher education in the Florida,鈥 said Jessica Acevedo-Lopez, director for new student recruitment and LINK Program.听
The program will serve students who are currently enrolled in MDC and plan to complete their associate degree within three years or six consecutive semesters (excluding summers).听
鈥淭hrough the 亚博官网 LINK program, Miami Dade College students planning on transferring to 亚博官网 will receive their 亚博官网 student ID which opens the door to 亚博官网 events, academic advising and exclusive scholarships,鈥 said Acevedo-Lopez. 鈥溠遣┕偻's campuses in Broward county and online programs expand access to academic opportunities for MDC students.鈥澛
The 亚博官网 LINK Transfer Success Program was established in 2009 to reinforce the University鈥檚 commitment to state colleges and transfer students. MDC joins 亚博官网鈥檚 other LINK partners, including Palm Beach State College, Broward College and Indian River State College.听
